Today I read that the Bush and Blair team are using the phones, trying to pursuade the other members of the security council to vote for them.
According to the newspapers, the politicians that are speaking seem confident they will get legal authority to wage war.
I will be sorry if they do. Sorry because the world should be beyond these measures. Sorry because I do not think we will achieve peace through this war, though many would argue.
They may be correct. One thing I do know about myself is that I am not a prophet.
I am in the middle of doubt, in the center of a pending cyclone, perhaps, as I think, are also the politicians.
They though have become so used to having to deal with their views being resisted, to having to force themselves to pursue a course of action despite opposition, which is constant in their line of work, that for them this is just one more time, important as it is, yet just a part of a days work. Talk and talk and talk, and hold your breath. Maybe what you say, maybe what you commit others to do, will work.
Ultimately it has to come to the people who have placed these. who we have, in power. That is the accumulation of us. Not those who voted against, but those who voted for, and those who didn't vote, who have decided to let it just happen.
There seems nothing more to do but wait. We are at the center now. I could do more, we all could do more, but the cyclone is bubbling around us.

What is a scenario:
Iraq will be invaded. Will the people fight? Will this just settle down, the people rid of its dictator? Perhaps!
But, the two western countries will not settle.
Retribution will be unleashed. It will come in the months and years ahead. It will happen, some events that little now we imagine will be brought to us, in this our shadow time.
No longer will these two countries have freedom.
They will have security measures, upon security measures. They will be fear.
They will be immersed in a gigantic web that is already being built around them.
A web that will draw tighter and tighter as it controls, that will sap all of what remains of freedom, of that which so many have fought, and died for.
Washington military officials have said the plan calls for unleashing 3,000 precision-guided bombs and missiles in the first 48 hours of a short air campaign, to be followed quickly by ground operations. General Myers gave a stark warning that the American attack would result in Iraqi civilian casualties despite the military’s best efforts to prevent them.

These are bombs paid for by US taxpayers. In both the US and UK, while local taxes increase, in the US, where even school funding is cut, because funds from the national government is drying up, unlimited money is given to pay for war. In the UK, one billion pounds has been allocated the Iraq war, with more to come. Council taxes are rising 12%.
Money used to practice war is taken from the people's money. Taken from the goodness it could do, often, in the case of war, without vote.
But the 3,000 precision-guided bombs, paid for by this money, that is much more the people of Iraq’s problem. And the Iraqi casualties that will die, that will be mutilated, many for life, and the young men and women, those in the ships and camps, those sent into this, to fight and die, that will be whose problem?
I have been sending emails. God knows, my God, the God who loves all creatures knows, that I do not know what else to do. I do go to the Peace groupings. I will stand if, when this war breaks, in its miserable full completion, and I will work with whoever is working, to rid the power scene of these people who dare to do this. Who dare to command that 3,000 bombs be unleashed upon a people. I do also work in my Shamanic capacity, because that is what I have.

I have never been an ally of the Pope before. I wonder if he sees the words of the lady in white, if we both have knowledge of the same stream?
The mental problem about this, is that I do know the President of Iraq would be out of a job. He would not be able to continue his evil ways, if this war happens. I do not think he will survive... I keep asking myself if perhaps I am wrong. To be truthful I am often confused. I only say to myself that dropping bombs on a city of people is not the way to do this. It is my heart that I am following. My mind is my muddle.
I watch the actions of North Korea. I see in its despair, very important consequences may result from the inadequacy of diplomacy, a diplomacy of peace that is no longer practiced, by us, by either the US or the UK.
I see India and Pakistan, with nuclear weapons, watching how two countries with power act.
I see the horror of what is taking place in Israel and in Palestine. Truly examples of behavior that now are beyond words. If there is a need to which the world, the whole world should focus, in this place, there is no greater situation for our beacon to shine.
They talk about Iraq as if this is the only country that might do harm. Do they not know that this only encourages nations to re-arm, to gather atomic weapons as soon as they can, in fear, mortally afraid of future actions of the US, and its nuclear ally the UK?
The US public in its blindness has reached about as far away as it could be, from the time when I admired and respected this people so much, as I did when I first came to that country.
The leadership in the UK has itself lost reality. It not longer is in touch with its people.
NO COUNTRY SHOULD GO TO WAR IF ITS PEOPLE DO NOT BACK SUCH ACTION.
But the people in the UK, not wanting war, listen. A 'wormtongue' is present and all are indeed in the presence of evil, but not the evil told. Truly, the movie of book three of the rings could not be at a more appropriate time. I wish returning hobbits could put this right.

As the blood of six people fall upon the US and UK people, so it begins.
I have asked myself recently if deviltry is involved in this.
It might have been considered a playful act putting such men into power: The appointment instead of an election of a President; the showing of the weakness of a workers party, who dare not, once knowing the capabilities of a Prime Minister, overturn him.
The vast groupings of People here do not want war. If war has been superimposed upon them from deviltry, then I, who in the fullness of this time have taken on a human body, I who have been born on this planet through woman, do make this curse.
Whatever hurt will fall, whatever death, or sorrow, or physical pain, will come to any of the planet’s people through your actions, then I curse you. I call in my own right, upon those with more then your power, to see that you experience it, that you experience it all, on this planet, or some other, until it is finished.
Know this. Know what I have done, and stop what you can, for this curse is now on you.
